As you may know, there’s been a few demonstrations here in Sudbury.

There’s a lot to get through, so we are going to try to keep our commentary to a minimum in this post.
At the first protest, there was a short appearance by Northern Guard president Darcy Mayer. He left quickly and was seen entering an apartment building across the street.
Otherwise, the only other agitators present at both protests were from Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS).
A lot of interesting tea has been spilled on social media regarding racism in Sudbury recently, here are some of the most notable things…
Racism against Black health care workers and anti-Blackness in general.
Racist downtown nightclub notorious for not allowing Black people.
Taxi company whose driver flipped off BLM and whose drivers have a bad reputation for racism.
A racist Instagram model from Sudbury.
In addition to all that, we received several complaints about comments by a local woman named Teija MacPherson. When we looked into her, we found pictures of her dressed in a Nazi uniform, so that was interesting…
We’d love it if everybody called out stuff like this and what we do here simply became redundant. If there’s one thing we want people in Sudbury to take away from this blog, it’s this: You don’t need anybody’s permission to do shit.
With that extremely important point made, let’s move on to the hate group’s reactions.
Amongst the Yellow Vests and Soldiers of Odin (SOO) there seems to be a broad consensus that Antifa are behind everything, because of course they don’t want to imagine that Black people could be the main actors in a Black uprising.
SOO VP Jason Lafaci has been particularly disgusting in trying to claim that BLM is taking attention away from Indigenous issues, while at the same time saying immigrants are the reason for the Canadian state’s terrible treatment of Indigenous peoples.
Over at Canadian Combat Coalition (C3) and C4 Hydroponics, Dan Dubois hasn’t hesitated to be completely racist and anti-Black.
Proud Boys hipster Michael Ashley Starbuck has shared a mixture of liberal-type platitudes, far-right slogans and content from C3 leader Dan Dubois and Candace Owens.
And of course, Shoutout Sudbury UNCUT remains a cesspool.
This is of course an evolving situation and there’s a good chance we’ll be back here shortly to update our readers again.
In the meantime…
